  • SPECIAL MISSIONS

     2016–To date: Member, Presidential Committee on North East Initiative.
     2007–2013: Adviser, Delta State water-ways Security Committee.
     2011-2012: Involved in the engagement and management of over 5000 ex-militants and local youths in the protection of oil facilities in Delta State: a collaboration effort between the Federal Government and Delta State through the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
     2009: Negotiated with top militant leaders into accepting the Nigerian Government’s Presidential Amnesty Program on 4th October 2009. This brought about an end to militant activities in the Niger- Delta Region of Nigeria.
     2004-2007: Initiated and established the mechanism that reinforced cooperation among the police and other security agencies with the Joint Task Force (JTF) Operation in Restoring Hope in Niger Delta.
     2004: Member, team of investigators that led to the successful arrest of perpetrators of the murder of 3 American oil workers with Wilbros under Chevron Nigeria Ltd at Olero Creek in Escravos Rivers, Delta State Nigeria in 2004.
